About the Class
Create a set of one-of-a-kind ceramic ornaments in this festive handbuilding workshop. Aliyah guides you through rolling slabs, cutting shapes, and pressing in texture with stamps, lace, and found objects, then adding color with simple hand-painted underglaze designs. Make a set for your own tree or a handful to give away. No experience needed. All materials included. Your ornaments will be fired and ready for pickup in time to hang.
About the Teacher
Aliyah McAllister is a ceramicist and the artist behind SunSoul Bowls, where she makes functional pottery alongside whimsical handbuilt pieces. Her work is inspired by the natural world, with earthy tones, minimalist underglaze designs, and organic clay marbling. She loves helping students build confidence and discover their own relationship with the wheel and clay. www.sunsoulbowls.com · @sunsoul.bowls
